Hey dude, if you look at the stat sheet that Taintedlogic posted on the thread, you will see that your audition piece had the highest average score out of any one else that auditioned. Do you realize the significance in that? You received a higher score than the opponent you're up against. AND the audition round is where people submit tracks that they think is their best piece. Your best piece beat everyone else's best piece.
I don't pity you. I'm up against garlagan.

I just got scared immediately because I had never competed in NGADM before and suddenly I was put against the winner of the previous, a long standing veteran. I won't say I overreacted, but I just had to get that out of my system.
I'm fine now.
Also crud being against garlagan sounds horrible
and if you beat bass fiddlejones, you'll have to go up against garlagan in the next round lol
just be yourself... be inspired and write some music that you love. When you overthink or over analyze what others might want to hear is when you'll start to falter. Don't stop writing until you get the moment in your own music where it starts to kick your ass

Wanna trade? This is my 4th time in the NGADM, and my first time I didn't even make it into the first round. I'm not improving as fast as everyone else on this site.
